Age Limit
As of 01/12/2024:
- JRF (Junior Research Fellowship): Maximum Age 28 Years
- NET (Lectureship/Assistant Professor): No Age Limit
Age Relaxation as per NTA rules.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks for General/EWS and 50% for SC/ST/PH candidates.
- Subjects include Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Chemical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, and Earth Sciences.
Exam Details
The CSIR UGC NET December 2024 Exam will be conducted in CBT (Computer-Based Test) mode. The test will determine eligibility for JRF and Assistant Professor in Indian universities and colleges.
